Eating or fueling for performance helps Soldiers and their families increase their energy and endurance. It also improves focus, concentration, and helps you look and feel better.
Although unhealthy food is everywhere and very convenient, the Army has resources to help teach you that making the right choice is not hard!
Make sure eating healthy is a habit:
- Go for Green, Stay Lean! Make fruits and vegetables at least 1/2 of any meal.
- A balanced nutrition plan improves physical fitness, cognitive abilities, and emotional strength.
- Food is fuel, so don't work out on an empty stomach.
- Re-fuel 30-60 minutes after a workout.
