Transitioned Soldier Analytics

Every year, roughly 62,000 active duty Soldiers transition out of the U.S. Army. In order to better understand and serve our Soldiers who have transitioned back to civilian life, the Soldier for Life Analytics and Research team conducts annual analyses of these transitioned Soldiers on a state-by-state basis to give us a clearer understanding of where Soldiers are transitioning to (and from) post service and the demographic makeup of these Soldiers. We also examine transition data based on top MOSs to find out MOS-specific transitioned-Soldier demographic and location information. Our most recent results can be accessed by clicking the links below. The expectation is that these reports can help provide a visual of the transitioned population and better equip military and veterans service organizations and related entities with the information they need to provide employment opportunities to veterans.
