Two or More Years to Transition Date

• Learn about the Army TAP process. Retiring Soldiers can start their transition activities up to two years before their retirement. Separating/transitioning Soldiers begin their TAP process no later than 365 days before leaving the Army.

• Have you made use of the Tuition Assistance program, and are you on track to graduate before you leave the military? Make sure you leave the military with an education or a certified skill.
