Retired Soldiers may be recalled up to age 64
Retired Soldiers may be recalled up to age 64 for general officers, 62 for warrant officers, and age 60 for all others. A Soldier in the Retired Reserve who receives retired pay or disability compensation, and is recalled to active duty, active duty for training, or any other duty for which compensation is authorized, may receive only one type of payment; as such, retired pay would be suspended for the duration of duty.
