Happy holidays! December, with all of its hustle and bustle, is in full swing. For many, the last few weeks of the year are a flurry of preparation, celebration and jubilation.

Throughout your time in the Army, many of you gave up time with your own families and friends during the holidays. The Army & Air Force Exchange Service appreciates all you and your families have sacrificed for America.

The Exchange team is honored to continue to serve you during retirement. Serving military retirees is a vital part of the Exchange’s mission to bring quality goods and services to military shoppers. When you retired, you retained your Exchange benefit, including shopping online at If you haven’t visited the Exchange online, I invite you to do so this holiday season.

Shopping the Exchange online helps make military communities better places to live and work. Exchange earnings—including from online sales—provide dividends to support Army Quality-of-Life programs for Soldiers and their families. In the past 10 years, the Exchange has distributed more than $2.4 billion to fund Quality-of-Life improvements. When you shop with the Exchange, you help Soldiers and families who serve today.

A year ago, the Exchange gave our online shopping site ( its first major overhaul in a decade. The updated site has been fine-tuned and features vastly improved navigation, product selection and service. The online product assortment is updated regularly and includes many of the same items found in our stores on Army posts.

More national brands are now available on, including Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, GoPro, Disney, Apple, Bose and more. A wide selection of colors and sizes can be found online, too.

The site is more interactive, and checkout has been improved. During checkout, large images now show what’s in your shopping cart. Payment and delivery options can be saved too, saving time and hassle. Products are also being delivered faster. Orders received by noon are shipped the very same day. Everything about the site has been designed to save money, effort and energy.

Whether you visit your local Exchange on Post or find us online at, it’s an honor to serve you and your families. Best wishes for a happy holiday season and a healthy, successful 2016.
